Decided to start a wordpress for self reflecting and as a way to improve my own English.
Everyone seems to have a value over their head. Many claims money isn’t what they are after but yet most can be brought with a price.
However I do have friends that are Christians that are not money oriented but yet at some point in life seems to reveal signs of regrets about their decision to not pursue career promotions and wealth. I think people that are able to devote solely and whole heartedly to a cause that is not profitable extremely admirable.
Personally, I became more finance oriented after reading Robert Kiyosaki’s rich dad poor dad. But yet at the same time, wealth doesn’t seem to ever be sufficient…. what are we working for? What are we chasing after? Big bucks but what’s the purpose of it? Everyone has a motivation. Be it for family, lifestyle or even something as basic as to flaunt to our friends.
People will always want 100% of your commitment and time. If you don’t do what you want to do, you will spend time living others dream and helping others achieve what you could possibly achieve.
On a side note, my boss is such an amazing speaker. I honestly though I could speak pretty darn well but yet, there’s always some one better. 一山比一山高, this Chinese saying is indeed true. How do I be the best at what I do…. is usually not the best that stands out but the one who know how to SHOW that they are the best. Maybe that’s why the world is a stage and we are just it’s player.
