Seeing my great grandmother on her deathbed really pains my heart. She’s been through so much like the WW2 and growing up in that era where Singapore was struggling for survival. But I must say, what a privilege it is to live in today times. Indeed how times has progressed looking back. We use to be so Primative in our actions and behaviour but now we are so cultured and civilised. So advanced that maybe we have lost that inner human touch within us all. My mum shared with me about us being lucky. Back in their times there were no bubble tea or electronic device for games. But this got me thinking, although there’s no games or electronic device, the human connection was so strong. The so called Kampung spirit. It wasn’t something forced out but rather it was something birthed out. Human to human interaction was so geniune and sincere. Now, is either money or for another purpose.
Really want to meet more people and explore what the world has to offer. To bounce off money making ideas and expose myself to do even greater things than before. I wish for the opportunity and the doors to be open. Covid has really taken a toll on everyone’s life and how we are adjusting to it. Fear is everywhere but measures are also taken. I’m lucky Singapore has great management and foresight that resulted in the virus being much more merciful to us than other countries. But everyone only sees the positive things, the facade of our political system is being portrayed. We ain’t a democratic nation. We are just sly with our words and twist and turn the rules so that we fit the criteria. We use political tools and legal ways to surpress the other parties. But at the end of the day, I like this way. Is like 2 business competing isn’t it? The one with larger economic of scale tends to be able to out muscle the smaller one. All is fair and square.
Hope to be able to keep this habit of writing to reflect and entertain myself. I honestly don’t know how this app works. Just feel that is a great platform to be anonymous but yet share my feeling openly and genuinely for whomever to see or read. Guess there’s a sense of satisfaction behind it after all. Till next time.
